Counting and Blistering Thermoforming Machinery

Blister lines represent the top of the range of Siempharma mechanical innovation. Ideal for packaging products of all sizes, they combine blister packaging and cartoning sections thanks to integrated robotised systems and can reach speeds of up to 200 blisters and 400 cartons per minute. On request, the machines can be equipped with systems for control of shape and size of tablets.

Siempharma offers complete lines for injectable products in pre- filled syringes and vials, from the washing process of the primary container to resting the final packed product on the pallet. Siempharma combines its experience in machine production for sterile injectable products with the advanced technological robotic solutions. This winning combination results in the development of new solutions aimed at improving Laminar Air Flow uniformity and the cleanability of the most critical areas of machinery in the aseptic process.

Technologies for filling, statistical or 100% weight check, capping and aluminium seals for vials for injectable use, containing liquid or freeze-dried products. The construction principles of these machines offer maximum efficiency of laminar flow; they guarantee perfect, safe accessibility to all critical zones during operation; they allow routine maintenance to be carried out from outside the filling area; in addition, they are designed for installation in containment cabinets such as open RABS, closed RABS and isolators of the ISOL-AIR series produced by Siempharma.

Technologies for assembly and labelling of syringes comprise a vast range of solutions for the handling of glass and plastic syringes, including plungering, labelling of the syringe body, assembly of the Backstop, insertion of Safety Devices and, if required, labelling of the Safety Devices themselves. Robust, reliable and flexible in terms of line layout, these machines are pre-arranged for traditional connection in line with conveyors of the NTS and NAS series, and with “No Glass to Glass Contact” versions.
Machines for filling and stoppering of nested single-use syringes are characterised by superbly compact and versatile design. All the main operations – from Tub opening to sampling and outfeed of filled syringes – are managed by brushless motors and SCARA robots designed entirely in-house by Siempharma. While offering extremely fast filling speeds of up to 600 pieces per minute, and the possibility to carry out in-line 100% weight checking, these technologies also offer a superb level of flexibility that also enables them to work with cartridges and RTU (Ready To Use) vials supplied in Nests/Tubs or, in the case of vials only, in larger Nested-Trays.
Syringe handling units can feed, collect or sort syringes taken from Nests/Tubs or Rondo Trays. The technologies used, based on brushless motors and robots designed and constructed entirely in-house by Siempharma, guarantee gentle handling of syringes or Safety Devices, both for in-line connections with traditional conveyors of the NTS and NAS series, and for connections of the “No Glass to Glass Contact” type.
