The Powder Dosing-plunging Monobloc DS-1/2 MINERVA is specifically designed to treat plugs and plungers from the Dual Chamber range.
This compact monobloc integrates the powder filling of the plunger and the consequent capping with the relative plug in a single machine. At the end of this fast and straightforward process, the plunger inserted into the plug (assembled system) will be ready to be used in the capping phase carried out during the final packaging of the entire Dual Chamber device.
The machine is entirely automatic regarding the transport of the plunger, powder’s dosage, and pressure closure through a plug. Therefore, the operator will only have to feed the powder loading hopper and the vibrating bowls with the material necessary for packaging.
The DS-1/2 MINERVA is characterized by its great flexibility and ease of use. Even the most inexperienced operators will manage all processes with extreme simplicity thanks to the intuitive operator interface managed from the touch-screen panel.

Vibrating feeder for plungers. This system is designed to provide precise transport of the punches as they pass from the vibrating bowl through a specific linear guide to the product handling carousel.
Carousel with starwheel for plungers. This transport system guarantees complete synchronization of the starwheel with the plunger feed station, the powder dispenser and the capping module for plugs.
Powder dosing station. The dosing system has been designed with a 5-litre loading hopper, equipped with an electronic stirrer for perfect powder management and a practice window to facilitate monitoring by the operator. The doser is electronic with dosing through a screw. The dosing funnel is equipped with an up-and-down system that will ensure extreme precision and cleanliness during the release of the powder inside the plunger.
Plunger capping station. This system is designed to provide precise transport of the plugs as they pass from the vibrating bowl through a specific linear guide to the pressure capper. In this way, the plunger will be inserted into the plug.
Automatic reject station. The machine is equipped with an automatic reject station for the uncapped plungers.
